Everything you need to start tumbling - a high quality dual-barrel rock tumbler from Beach Lapidary along with one of our beginner grit packs and 1KG of rough rock. You can start tumbling from day one.

Our dual barrel Beach rock tumbling machine is one of our most popular choices, offering both an accessible platform for beginners while serving as an ideal upgrade for those moving from a single barrel tumbler. This machine comes with two 1.5lb plastic barrels, allowing you to experiment with multiple projects simultaneously or tackle larger batches with ease.

Here's why you'll love it:

  • Larger capacity barrel makes tumbling larger stones or heavier loads easy.
  • Option to alternate between a single 3lb barrel or two 1.5lb barrels.
  • Low energy usage makes it an efficient to run machine.

The included grit pack has all the grit you need for several tumble loads, each coming in a resealable tub. This pack contains one tub each of:

  • F80 Course Grit [200g]
  • F220 Medium Grit [200g]
  • F400 Fine Grit [200g]
  • Pumice Polish Powder [100g]

Please note: rocks shown in the picture are roughly 500g worth, you'll receive approx double the amount shown.

About our warranty

All of our machines are covered by a one year warranty covering any faulty parts or machine issues. This is provided by Beach Lapidary, our UK-based supplier of machines.

Just let us know if you encounter any issues during the following 12 months after your initial purchase and we'll provide you a pre-paid postage label to get the machine sent off for repair or replacement.

How much energy does it use?

Our 2lb and 3lb machines use very efficient, 20W motors. If left running over the course of a month, expect to use somewhere between 14-15 kWh of electricity, this would probably cost £3-£4 a month.

Is it okay to stop the tumbler for a few hours or overnight?

Yes, it is fine to stop the tumbler for brief periods (a few hours) to inspect the rocks, change the grit, or take a break.

However, do not leave the rocks sitting in the slurry for more than 12-24 hours without turning, especially in the final stages. The slurry can start to dry and harden, cementing the grit to the rocks or the barrel walls, making cleanup difficult and potentially leading to contamination.
